Need a quick, healthy snack that’s packed with energy and tastes amazing? These Protein Date Energy Bites are a go-to option for busy days. They’re naturally sweet from Medjool dates, loaded with fiber, and boosted with protein for muscle recovery. Perfect for a pre-workout snack, afternoon pick-me-up, or even a healthy dessert alternative.

Why You’ll Love These Energy Bites:

Customizable – Add mini chocolate chips, chia seeds, or nut butter for extra flavor!

Ingredients:

  • 12–14 Pitted Medjool Dates(If your dates are dry and crusty, soak them in hot water for 2–3 minutes before starting the recipe.)

  • ¼ Cup Cacao Powder (optional—skip if using chocolate protein powder)

  • 1 Scoop Protein Powder of Choice

Instructions:

  1. Process the Dates Add the dates to a food processor and process for about 10–15 seconds, until they clump up into a sticky ball. I used a blender here pictured because my food processor died!

.

  1. Add Remaining Ingredients

Spread out the dates in the food processor, then add the oats, cacao (if using), and protein powder and any other add ins.

3.Blend Everything Together

Process until the mixture is well combined and forms a sticky, crumbly dough. If it feels too dry, add a teaspoon of water and blend again.

  1. Form into a Ball

Remove the mixture from the food processor and press it together into one large ball with your hands.

  1. Roll into Bite-Sized Pieces Break off small pieces and roll into individual balls. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for a firmer texture!

Store your energy bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week, or freeze for up to 3 months for a quick grab-and-go snack.
